Keynote Speaker – Rotarian Martin Parnell travels from Alberta, Canada to be with us.

Born in Devon, Martin is an accomplished public speaker, ultra distance runner (250 marathons in a year), multi Guiness Record holder and philanthropist. In 2018 he covertly travelled to Afghanistan with a film crew to encourage young women to run the Afghan Marathon. Hosted by Martin on the Friday evening, you have an opportunity to watch the UK premier of “The Secret Marathon ”, their very moving story.
